We have published our Annual Report for 2019.
The Annual Report provides an overview of our work across a diverse range of functions including regulation and monitoring, setting standards, making recommendations, health technology assessment and carrying out surveys of care experience to improve the safety and quality of care for everyone.
The report also includes the Report of the Chief Inspector of Social Services, with over 1,600 inspections of health and social care services carried out during the year.
Thank you to everyone we met in 2019 on inspection — those working or living in services; those who attended our many forums, roadshows and events across the country; and those who have actively participated in informing our work through consultations, correspondence and surveys.
