Members of the public and stakeholders are invited to share their views on HIQA’s future direction through a public consultation on our draft Corporate Plan 2025-2027.
Speaking about the corporate plan and public consultation, HIQA CEO Angela Fitzgerald said: “This corporate plan outlines a clear strategic direction for the next three years. Over this period, we will remain responsive to the needs of the public and will continue to work towards our vision of all health and social care providers consistently delivering excellent standards of care and the best possible outcomes for people using services.
“For this corporate plan, we have shifted our approach from traditional goal setting to more tangible outcomes that we want to see achieved by 2027. The outcomes are benchmarks by which we will measure our success. By focussing on the outcomes, we aim to enable the best possible health and social care outcomes for all, through evidence-informed decision-making, standard setting, and regulation.”
The draft corporate plan is available on our website www.hiqa.ie. Members of the public and stakeholders are encouraged to take part in the consultation by completing a short online survey by Friday 6 December 2024.
Following the consultation, all submissions will be reviewed and will inform the final version of the corporate plan.
