Results of first National End of Life Survey released

The results of Ireland’s first National End of Life Survey show that the majority of participants believed that the care their loved ones or friends received in the last days and months of their life was ‘very good’.

National End of Life Survey Gets Underway

The National End of Life Survey is now underway. The survey is the first national survey of its kind in Ireland and asks bereaved relatives about the care provided to a family member or friend in the last months and days of their life. The purpose of the survey is to learn from people’s experiences of end-of-life care in order to improve the services provided both to people who are dying, and to their loved ones.

Update on the first National End of Life Survey

The first National End of Life Survey will commence in March 2023. The survey will be the first national survey asking bereaved relatives about the care provided to a family member or friend in the last days and months of their life.
