HIQA has achieved platinum accreditation in the National Standards Authority of Ireland’s ‘Excellence Through People’ award.
Excellence Through People is a National Human Resource Management Scheme. The award aims to encourage organisations to develop the full potential of their employees, promote employee learning and development and act as a business improvement tool.
Our CEO Phelim Quinn said: “In recent years, HIQA set itself the objective of being an employer of choice. This assessment provides us with external validation of the outcomes of a number of initiatives we have in place aimed at improving the experience of our employees. Categories assessed included communication and collaboration, leadership and people management, learning and development, HR systems and employee wellbeing.
“To achieve this off the back of what has been a very difficult two years during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the challenges that brought with it of remote working, and an increased workload on our staff, is even more impressive. It has been a privilege to work with such a brilliant group of dedicated staff.”
