The National Inpatient Experience Survey has been postponed until later this year, as a result of the cyber attack on HSE systems.
Due to the impact on HSE systems, the National Care Experience Programme is unable to capture the experiences of people discharged from public hospitals during the month of May.
We acknowledge that this is a very difficult time for all HSE staff and patients. We would also like to thank all the hospital staff for their continuing support of the National Inpatient Experience Survey and their hard work in rolling out and promoting the survey in May 2021.
Patients who were discharged from one of the participating hospitals during the month of May will not receive a survey in the post to complete. However, they can still give feedback about their experience directly to the HSE by contacting their hospital directly or the HSE’s Your Service, Your Say by calling 045 880429.
